Having some issues installing Vanilla Mojave properly

When installing my install always stops about 3/4 of the way through with 2 minutes remaining. Here's a photo: https://imgur.com/VvLc6pZ

When rebooting the machine the computer attempts to boot from that drive which it thinks the OS has fully installed to and gives me a screen saying installing Mojave with a grey load bar which finishes, at which point I am presented with this screen: https://imgur.com/XdA7JIG Here's another angle: https://imgur.com/8WTzqzH
