I'm running Catalina on a dell inspiron 3420 and I was doing some tests to see which ports were working. And I found out that the optical drive was not working. And I was also in desperate need of usb 3.0 so is it possible with like a caddy and then a sata to mini pci and then get a usb 3 card? I don't wanna a buy a new pc and stuff just for that so maybe if it's possible please inform me
edit: just found something https://www.amazon.com/SilverStone-Technology-FPS01-12-7mm-Micro-SD/dp/B01N6HYH6V This thing goes into the optical drive and 2 usb 3 ports and sd and micro sd, can someone see if this true or not?
