Finally tried something interesting with CCC.
Made standard clone on SSD external device. Then partitioned the backup to reflect my 2 internal SSDs in the Razer Blade Pro Hackintosh.
Second SSD has all my media and virtual machines, which backed up to the new partition made on external SSD.
Then connected to the second eBay/Amazon/used parts RBP I set up as a triple boot machine and tried to boot from the external SSD backup.
The second RBP eventually booted and ran from my backup. But just like any other Mac it saw the backup as a new computer and all my registered programs came up as trials. This would reflect the different serial number in the config.plist Clover folder.
Demonstrates the power of macOS combined with Clover/EFI to make data recovery a real thing in case it came to just having the CCC backup.
