Simple guide on how to get DW1560 drivers working on Windows 7!

So although I cancelled my order, surprisingly the blind guys at Dell forgot to cancel the shipping cause their system freaking sucks and I'm not gonna go into detail, but my DW1560 arrived. Instead, I took the time to be grateful and just kept it without calling Dell and realized how much $$$ I wasted over a USB WiFi card. Thanks Intel.

Anyways, so it THANKFULLY worked on Mojave, AirDrop and Bluetooth work great. But here's another thing... what if you wanna use it on Windows 7? You search and hunt for drivers, all of a sudden they don't work.

So, here's what I did: - Go to https://wikidevi.com/wiki/Broadcom_BCM94352HMB

  • Scroll down and click on "Wi-Fi Driver V6.34.223.5 for Windows 7/8/8.1 32bit & 64bit (WHQL)"

  • Extract the ZIP and run "Setup.exe"

  • Sit back and relax

  • You're in!

This also works for other WiFi cards using the BCM94352 chip (like the Lenovo ones.)

Proof here: https://prnt.sc/owua34 (Note the screenshot says Windows Vista, this is actually transformed, it looks LIKE Vista but don't be alarmed)

Note to self: I got WiFi working both on macOS and Windows 7. I really wasted $30 on a USB WiFi card for nothing because Dell cancelled my order but still sent the DW1560. Ironic. :p
