Like many of you I was used to having zero mouse acceleration on windows but MacOS doesn't offer a built-in way to disable mouse acceleration.
Fortunately there is a workaround: the SteelSeries ExactMouse app
The app runs in the background and does nothing but disable mouse acceleration. You can quit it anytime to re-enable acceleration and it works for any mouse, not just SteelSeries ones.
How to get it:
If you don't have homebrew installed, you can download ExactMouse manually here:
https://steelseries.com/engine#downloads
Otherwise, you can install it through homebrew cask with the following command
brew cask install homebrew/cask-drivers/steelseries-exactmouse-tool
Good luck and happy hackintoshing boys
