A while ago I was experimenting with OpenCore on my new Z390 build (Gigabyte Z390 Designare, 9900KS, Vega64) and trying to get emulated NVRAM to work. Before, on Clover, I couldn't get emulated nvram to work: my custom nvram variables didn't survive a reboot. However, on OpenCore (0.5.3), I was able to create custom vars and see them after a reboot. I don't see a nvram.plist file in my /EFI/ and options like LegacyEnable and LegacySchema are disabled, so that make me believe that I'm experiencing native nvram.
You can find my /EFI/ here (without serial, MLB and UUID): http://s000.tinyupload.com/index.php?file_id=38748510796799477343
The file in question that I believe causes this (as booting without this causes my variables to not survive a reboot) is here (http://s000.tinyupload.com/index.php?file_id=40561690984440084401), both in unmodified clean state and the edited version. Maybe someone who has sufficient knowledge on this topic might be able to figure out why this is happening?
