Audio no longer working after sleep Mojave

CPU: i5 4th Gen mobile chip 2ghz

RAM: 8gb DDR3

Laptop Model: Dell Latitude E7440

I use APPLEALC for my audio driver kext, and it works perfectly and even with my laptop's dedicated volume buttons, but after waking the laptop it still recognizes the audio device, but makes no sound at all. I found EAPD Codec-Commander, but could not figure out what to do with it after that as there was no Info.plist to replace or kext to add. Help?
