I have spent the last two days trying to get my system to run Catalina. I had previous experience with a Clover installation on this machine and it worked really great on High Sierra. Now I've been following the vanilla guide for my system and unfortunately I can't get past this screen. What’s the consensus about what is the best? Price per performance definitely is in Amds favor but I’ve heard there are problems with the adobe suite with amd — is this unfounded? Hello, I''m running Hackintosh Mojave 10.14.5, I also have Windows 10 on the same pc, but both OS run on separate SSD's and boot separately. I recently bought a Logitech MX Ergo Mouse for ergonomics when I'm working in OSX, and I have the Logitech Unifying Device dongle plugged into a MB usb port. In windows 10 everything connects fine, no problems. On OSX I have the latest Logitech Options software and OSX can see the Unifying dongle no problem, but it's not pairing to the mouse. Since the dongle can pair with up to 6 Logi devices, it shows a device paired from the windows 10 side, but doesn't show battery and firmware info, I've deleted it and tried re-pairing in OSX to no avail. I had to set up the privacy options manually for the Logi software. Has anyone been successful pairing a Logi wireless mouse? I understand some people have had connection problems with wireless mice, and especially Logitech wireless mice. I've search all over and can't...

Build Specs: CPU: Ryzen 3600 GPU: Sapphire Nitro+ RX 5700 XT Mobo: Asus ROG STRIX X470-I RAM: Corsair Vengeance RGB Pro 16gb @ 3600mhz Storage: Samsung 970 Evo Plus (MacOS), Crucial P1 (Win10) Case: Lian Li TU150 Minor hiccups: Used OpenCore and everything is running well except for a couple minor issues: the "Memory Modules Misconfigured" which requires a kext to remove from what I've read. If anyone has the surefire details for this - that would be great. Also, had originally intended to dual boot from partitioning the 970 but couldn't get that to work right after a few tries, so ditched that but ended up with an unused partition (and unseen in mac). Have to figure out how to absorb that into the usable 50% for the mac boot. Hey there, I've been experiencing an issue for the past few months and I'm just wondering if anyone can help me. My updates have always worked 100% fine, until I upgraded to Catalina. I am stuck on 15.0. I have an available update for 15.4. I have followed the procedures of downloading, restarting. Where there would normally be a boot partition for the update, there is nothing, and it boots me back into 15.0, with a pending update. I have researched this for days, I have tried updating Clover, all my kexts, enabling/disabling SIP, safe booting etc. Nothing I have tried has worked. Greetings, How much RAM do I need to put in my hack? Is there a point at which I'm just throwing money away on it? I'm using an older hackintosh now, high sierra, 3770K intel GAZ77DS3H motherboard, 32gb ram 980 ti graphics. I'm thinking of building a new one that will likely be overkill but I'll be using it for office/web/games. Not planning on huge sound/video editing projects. I'm either going to wait on the 10th gen intel desktop I7 or go with the Ryzen 3800/3900 depending on budget with a 5700 xt, I think. Where do you hit diminishing returns with RAM with these? I have looked everywhere and this is the last resort, apologies this goes against the rules but apple won't help. Since upgrading to 10.15.4 my 4k display Asus PQ321Q won't work and just shows a black no signal screen. This monitor was working fine a few weeks ago in 10.15.3 4k@60hz but now the only way to get it to work is set it to SST at 30hz which is unsuable for me. I tried updating to 10.15.5 beta and now went back and reinstalled clean to 10.15.3 but still nothing. Have tried resetting PRAM and SMC a few times but nothing. Thought maybe it's the Display port cable so tested a new one and still nothing. It's kind of ridiculous it's not working when it was fine before. Works fine in windows with both cables (USB C - Displayport), so it's an OS X driver/software issue, holy crap it's been like 5 years with 4k monitors why can't Apple make this work... So, I have a Fenvi AC1900 Wifi card that I got to add Wifi to my Hackintosh, and I have the strange issue where I can only connect to 5 GHz wifi networks. Unfortunately, my computer is in a part of a house where 5 GHz doesn't get great signal. Honestly, I'm leaning toward it being a hardware problem--since I can't connect to 2.4 GHz in Windows 10 either(and it won't connect to a 2.4 GHz network on my phone). I've tried different PCIe slots (I'm currently using an x1 slot, but I've tried other ones). I installed AirportBrcmFixup in Clover (I already had Lilu), and I messed with setting the country code as a boot flag, which didn't fix anything. But I figured this would be a good place to ask, in case I am missing something obvious. If I do end up having to send it back, is there a budget card that people have had good luck with (or is this one fine and I just got unlucky). I use a Scarlett 2i2 audio interface with a PC (specs on bottom) to record music, guitar and vocals. I used to have a mac with Logic Pro X and i loved how well it worked and it never had a delay so i could listen while i played without it feeling jarring. Now that im back to my PC though, there is pretty much always a delay of a few hundred ms and it causes music production to go a lot slower. Its a USB 2.0 audio interface so im not sure why it works so well with mac but it does. I had a 2017 macbook pro base model. Now i have a custom gaming desktop with a Tuf Gaming x570 motherboard, Ryzen 7 2700, RX 580, 16gb of ram. The software i now use is Mixcraft 8 but i have noticed the audio delay in any DAW on windows. Is there any way to enable debugging for the MacOS installer? I keep crashing in the Apple logo loading screen after loading from OpenCore 0.5.7, at 12 minutes remaining, but the displayed crash logs does not actually provide what it did before hand. It's not detailed enough. OpenCore's debug logs doesn't provide anything either, I assume it can only log up until the handoff to the installer is made. Ryzentosh on a R5 3600x with 5700xt radeon using Open Core bootloader. Loads fine and AppStore works and Apple Id works. Facetime is getting a no reachable address error and iMessage is getting and Internal server error. Have changed serial, uuid, etc multiple times. No luck. Any more ideas? Really appreciated. Hello, I've installed succefully catalina 10.15.3 everything is working perfectly, the benchmarks are pretty good, the only two problems i have is that i cannot see the GPU GPU temp/fan speed in iStatmenus + Hwsensors, i'm using virtualsmc, and i tried with fakesmc same results, i can only see CPU fan speed/temp, also the fans are spinning more often than in windows, when i'm only browsing or even doing nothing the fans start going on and off like i'm using something that needs GPU, also i'm running a 1080p 120hz monitor, when i change the refresh rate to 60hz the fans goes back to silent mode like in windows, do u guys have any idea why? I am having trouble with Intel UHD 630 Graphics in a recent 10.13.6 build. It shows only 31MB of VRAM. When I add the "device-id" "923E0000"for faking the Coffee Lake Refresh ( as per this guide ), I get a black screen after verbose, and none of the BusID patches fixed this issue ( guide ). I ran through every port possibility, spent all day working on this, and haven't really gotten anywhere. I have included a plist with and without the BusID/framebuffer patching that I did. The version without the BusID patching boots with the graphics issue seen below. I recently tried to install MacOS on the NUC5. HELP! Please! I've been working on a hacktoshing a Dell 7573 for almost 3 weeks now, and still can't get to the installer screen. Please help. I cannot boot to the cloned Windows OS under secondary HDD. What happened is originally, the Windows OS was installed in M.2 SSD which i think is the primary drive of my laptop. I cloned the Windows OS under it to my secondary HDD. Then after that, I installed MacOS into M.2 SSD. Everything went fine but when I try to boot to the secondary HDD which the Windows OS was cloned, it won't proceed. Hey ppl, Ive installed 10.14.6 on: Asus B450 Ryzen 5 3600 16gb Ram RX 570 Open core 5.7 ​ Everything runs really well. My only issue is getting temps to show. I have installed AMDRyzenCPUPowerManagement.kext and SMCAMDProcessor.kext for power management in EFI/OC/Kexts but i am getting an error when opening AMD power app. "no AMDRyzenCPUPowerManagement Found!"
