Hardware: CPU: i9 9900K Motherboard: Gigabyte Z390 M Gaming GPU: Asus RX580 4gb RAM: 64gb DDR4-3200 SSD: WD Blue 512gb NVMe HDD: Seagate 2tb SATA Firewire: Vantec UGT-FW210 PSU: EVGA Supernova NEX750B Case: Phanteks P300 (came with the CPU/Mobo) Monitor: Samsung SA850 (27" 1440p) Currently running Mojave for older music software (Mojave installed from this tutorial). Had to change MinDate and MinVersion to -1 for it to boot Mojave, and added darkwake=0 as I had sleep issues though it didn't help. Pmset -g assertions indicates that my external USB drives may be preventing sleep, may need a script to eject drives before sleeping like I had to do on my old Mac Pro. Initially had stability issues with this system in any OS, turned out to be the integrated graphics as the system is perfectly stable with the RX580 installed. Either way, it's a bit of an improvement from the Mac Mini! [link] [comments] |
