The macOS installation couldn't be completed completed error

I'm working on making my HP Pavilion pre-built Laptop a hackintosh. I tried to run Monterey and Big Sur but was told that they are yet to be tested so I turned to Catalina. I was so far able to get to the language selection screen but after selecting English I get an error saying: The macOS installation couldn't be completed completed error. I tried adding some kexts and going through the logs but got no where. Is anyone able to help me
