I’m following along in this video below and having this looping issue where I can’t get past the installer selection. Specifically stuck at 10:30 in the video. I hit the installer, the loading bar shows showing 20 ish min remaining, it restarts after completing, and then I get right back to this screen. If I leave it alone on that screen for a few seconds, it goes back to the screen on 7:55. From there, I manually hit restart to get back to the 10:30 screen. If I manually hit the installer again, it reboots infinitely back to 10:30. There’s no restarting automatically several times like he mentioned, if “Iet it go” it just goes to 7:55. I’ve tried repeating steps from 7:55 and that doesn’t work either. I’m not sure what’s happening. I’ve pre-ordered a framework 16 with the best config possible. CPU : Ryzen 9 7940HS GPU : Radeon RX 7700S RAM : 32Gib DDR5 5600MT/s Now I know we have been able to get Ryzen APUs and Radeon GPUs to work with openCore. I’m not sure if the 7th gen mobile APUs and GPUs in specific have kexts and acpis that can get them to work. We’ve gotten AMD framework 13s to run OpenCore, can the 16s run them as well? If yes, will it be possible to run it with hardware acceleration? Can we get the dGPU to work in macOS as well? For context, I’ve got an i7 10th gen Asus TUF f15 rn dual booting Ventura and Win 11, everything works including the onboard keyboard and trackpad(except for the 1650 dGPU). Hey guys I am following Dortania's guide, I have managed to fix quite a few installation errors but here is where im stuck now. Loading the usb installer I get to a point where it has a bunch of vm_shared_region_start_address() failed errors. Laptop Specs: Asus Tuf gaming FX705GE Intel Core I7-8750H 32GB of Ram Intel Coffee Lake-H (Hackintosh Supported Graphics) & NVidia GTX 1050TI (Unsupported graphics) Audio RealTek ALC 233 Realtek Gigabit Etherner + Intel Wifi Adapter 9560NGW (Former Wifi Adapter which has been removed) + Fenvi BCM94360NG Wifi Adapter (New one that perfectly fullfills Airdrop, Bluetooth and Wifi function) PS2 Keyboard with backlight (still working on it, hopes on the fact that it works) & Elan1200 Trackpad (Everything works, click, tap click, scroll, zoom, gestures...) I have a MBP 2011 17' (Model Macbook 8.3) with a neutralized GPU as it had GPU problems like most of 2011 models (using Dosdude1 method) and I would like to know if without GPU it is possible to upgrade to BigSur? I have Linux and Windows dual booted on one drive on my laptop. Would it be possible to install MacOS on a new SSD and triple boot if I got one? Or is there some compatibility issue with having all 3. If I can - Currently when I boot I choose which OS through the GRUB Bootloader, will this have to be changed or can GRUB support MacOS, Windows, and Linux? I'm still completely green with Linux but you gurs really know what you're talking about. As it happens, I've been using Apple products since 1979, loved the Mac, was depressed by those clunky Gates/Jobs Windows Wars in the nineties, loved OSX still more, mistrusted iOS and recent attempts to restyle Mac GUI to behave like a widescreen iPhone, and have tended to doubt what OS11 will bring to our lives that Lion didn't pretty much give nearly twenty years ago. But I have never learned Linux beyond slavishly typing out suggested command lines from these threads in order to summon its arcane magic (in the manner of a cargo-cult). Perhaps you wise people can answer a question that's been puzzling me for years: When any Mac hangs during its Apple startup screen, why is it that you then have to reboot and hold down a key combination in order to get see what's going wrong "under the hood?" Success. I used OCLP .68 on an iMac mid-2011 with no hardware changes internally, with 8GB, with a 500GB TB1 SSD. Works well all things considered. I went from 10.13.6 to Ventura 13.5. I don't plan to patch or upgrade beyond this barring clear success stories; I'm at the point where I'm pretty happy for now with what's on here. Safari is modern, Chrome will continue to update, Office 2021 works, and my apps, by and large, mostly work. The TB1 to SATA adapter used is the "Seagate GoFlex" adapter. Things that won't work: iMovie vLatest (loads the OK screen showing the new version, then quits) GarageBand vLatest (loads a few things, then quits with Metal errors) Apple Maps (shows blank screen) Apple Photos (shows all photos, syncs, etc., but when you 2x click on an individual photo, it opens that window to show the photo, but the window is blank) I'm sure there's more, but for basic use (Safari, Apple News, a basic OpenGL game like Starcraft II...

When I connect my 'SteelSeries GameDac' to my Hackintosh, it functions as anticipated, yet it causes my system to instantly wake from sleep. I've tried changing the USB-port its connected to, but to no avail. This is likely not a USB-mapping issue, as other devices connected, don't cause this issue.
