FAQ:
Q1: Why did you choose the Lenovo M73 Tiny for your Hackintosh project?
- The Lenovo M73 Tiny offers a compact form factor, upgradability with an SSD and better CPU, and compatibility with the Intel HD 4600 graphics, making it suitable for a macOS installation.
Q2: Why change the Serial Number (S/N) with GenSMBIOS?
- Changing the Serial Number helps avoid conflicts with Apple's servers and ensures smooth functioning of macOS services.
Q3: What challenges did you face during the installation process?
- A mistake from a previous iHack 7040 project prompted the need to change the Serial Number. Additionally, modifying the
csr-active-configfor graphics acceleration required attention to detail.
Note: Always ensure you have proper backups and follow community guidelines when undertaking Hackintosh projects. Compatibility may vary, and user discretion is advised.
