sonoma 14.4.1: apps keep crashing

I have recently installed the sonoma 14.4.1 update, installed the root patches after and my apps keep crashing for some reason. After using apps for about an hour or so, one crashes, then the dock also gets stuck, then the finder and then the whole os. i keep having to reboot but the problem presists. i have the latest legacy patcher ie 1.4.2

can anyone help me in this matter? i'm using macbook pro early 2015
