Which is the Best performance MacOS for early 2011 Macbook pro 8,1

I have macbook 8,1 which has no macOS installed.

I want to work in it (use after effects) I have to install X and then with opencore patcher.

This is one lanthy option now I know.

If there are any other stable and fast option let me know .

And which macOS will be the best.(Max it supports high Sierra)

And yah if anybody knows windows install directly then it would be better
