Anyone running macOS Ventura or Sonoma on a 2016 MacBook Pro (via OCLP)? Worth it?

Hey folks,

I’m using a MacBook Pro 13" (2016, Intel) with OpenCore Legacy Patcher and currently have macOS Sequoia installed. It runs — but it’s hot, battery drains insanely fast, and performance feels off.

I’m debating whether to roll back to Ventura (for stability) or try Sonoma (for newer app support like GoodNotes, Office 365, Teams, iCloud, etc.).

If you’ve tested either version on a similar setup, I’d really appreciate your take:

How’s battery life?

Any GPU glitches or fan noise?

Is Sonoma actually worth the trade-off?

Looking for real-world feedback from anyone who’s lived with this setup for a while.

Thanks in advance
