| | Hello everyone I have a MacBook Air 2017 13-inch(A1466) and its Wi-Fi has not worked since before installing macOS Sonoma. I thought maybe it was a system problem but I suspect it's actually the Broadcom chip. I put Sonoma with OpenCore, and although everything else is perfect, the Wi-Fi still does not appear. I have tried several things: No details of the Wi-Fi chip appear in Terminal, as if it did not exist. I tried connecting it via Ethernet with USB adapters, but it doesn't detect it either. I tried three external Wi-Fi adapters, and none of them worked (perhaps they are missing drivers or my adapters are incompatible with macOS). Surely the open core Sonoma system installed the necessary drivers so I think that is not the problem. A friend told me that it may be the damaged internal chip. Could anyone recommend a good adapter for this model or a solution? Now I have several doubts:
Any guidance or similar experience will be more than welcome. [link] [comments] |
