Should I just go with a slightly older version like Big Sur or Monterey?

I've had issues with Ventura and Sonoma being on my 2012 Mac Mini and personally i only use it for some light use, because I have a newer PC I use.. but will installing the oldest OCLP macOS version make it faster than how Ventua & Sonoma were? As you can see I'm back on 10.15.7 Catalina which runs very well but I was thinking about going with Big Sur (mostly) or Monterey. What do yall think..? Or if anyone knows what is the BEST macOS to install on this i would appreciate it.
