Hi! I have some friends that are really not so techy and asked me if i can do something about their old macbook pros models 2008, early 2013 and 2009.they had various problems which i fixed for them, one had some virus problems that i just clean installed macos, other had me replace the screen connector and the third had me replace the battery. Additionaly i cleaned computers outsides and insides and installed opencore on all 3. Now i wasnt planing on charging them anything really because they are friends but now they are asking for the price because what i have done for them is a huge deal for them.( also for those who ever worked on it, the 2013 pro model is a pain in the a** to work with)
But now i have a problem, how should i charge them? What sort of money are we even talking about? Or what is the difference between a simple cleanup + opencore and real acreen connector surgery? Any help appriciated and i know opencore is free but its still a service i guess..
