I just upgraded by 2013 27 inch 32gb iMac from Catalina to sequoia and there’s not really any difference? When first installed it was running slow but then I reset my nvram and used root patches and the speed is comparable to when I used Catalina! however the boot time is like 1.5-2x longer which I don’t mind that much.
(One weird thing that I’m pretty sure isn’t HDD related is that all the dynamic and video wallpapers work perfectly like sequoia sunrise, Sonoma, Ventura, etc, except normal sequoia and Macintosh they’re just a purple or green screen)
