My mac drive is on an SSD. I don't really need this, but given that I have some storage drives in the computer as well, to clear up cables a bit, I am trying to plug my hackintosh SSD into this ( SEDNA PCI Express (PCIe) SATA III (6G) SSD Adapter with 1 SATA III Port (with Built in Power Circuit, no Need SATA Power Connector, Best for Mac), SSD not Included: Amazon.ca: Computers & Tablets ) and boot. I usually just hold down F12 to boot to my hackintosh via the BIOS, but when I click on Opencore, it flashes for a second then just goes back to the bios boot select screen. Happy to report a resounding SUCCESS installing Catalina and then Big Sur on my 2020 Blade 15 Advanced! I followed the Dortania OpenCore install guide for the most part. Used a few Github repos for older models of the blade for pointers in the right direction. Physical flashing of the bios EEPROM was required in order to unlock CfgLock, DVMT prealloc, and VT-d options in the bios menu. The 2020 Blade bios is pretty locked down and modified roms can not be flashed with software alone, but in general it was pretty straightforward and went over more or less without a hitch. I have a Core 2 Duo PC that is currently running High Sierra, however, when i copy the EFI to the hard drive, used BootInstallX64 to create bootfile inside the hard drive's EFI partition, the PC still failed to boot from hard drive and would just showing a blinking underscore. Greeting fellow Hackintosh-er's I recently got my hands on a HP EliteDesk 800 G1 mini, a very tiny PC, for like 10,000 rupees, it has i5 4690T 8GB DDR3 RAM and a 250GB SSD. I already have a Windows machine (Aorus z390 mini itx + i5 9600k) and also already have Linux machine (HP ProDesk 600 G2 mini with pentium CPU) so I thought I would experiment with Hackintosh on the 800 G1. I know the above model is old so may be 4K support is not possible but just wanted to ask if there is a chance to get it working, the CPU specs lists that 4K is supported on the Display port . I have an LG 27 UL500, 4K UHD monitor that I would like to use with this machine. everything works fine with the latest version of Big Sur 11.3.1 and has been stable for a few weeks. the only thing that doesn't work is Display Resolution is only 1080P with no option to increase it - I would like this to be 4K if possible. ​ I updated to 11.4 stupidly without reviewing potential problems ahead of time. I have since installed Opencore 6.9 up from 6.3 and followed the guide for my Coffee Lake processor and also used my old config file as a template for settings. I am able to boot and verify Opencore 6.9. I used Hackintool to probe my USB ports and most physically present registered (all except USB C port on case). I removed the additional USB port values, counted only 7 (7X2=14 so less than 15), exported the USBPorts.kext, which I placed it in the EFI and then updated the kernel portion of config.plist using Propertree. I also changed XhciPortLimit to False. So at this point, I can verify Opencore 6.9 is working and the entries in the config.plist but according to the extensions loaded via Hackintool, I don't see the USBPorts.kext. I tried with other interfaces but the results are the same. This sucks because using Logic is one of the main reasons for which I built this machine, so having .5 seconds delay makes the card unusable to record...

My boyfriend was “ online cheating “ on me my whole pregnancy & even on Valentine’s Day , while he was home from work sitting infront of me and our oldest son I caught him 4 months after our new son arrived & then my whole world flipped upside down ... I’ve caught him slipping up a few times but nothing too serious but I really think he was some type of malware or software on it to make sure I don’t see certain things ... In an attempt to mount the boot EFI to my MacOS drive, I figured that Big Sur cannot read my boot USB. It can, however, read my Windows 10 partition which is in NTFS format. What might be the cause of this and how can i fix it? P.s. My understanding for patching and connector types is limited so do correct me if I'm wrong, As mentioned in the Guide-Patching Connector Types , since I'm using an HDMI connection on my laptop, the connector type in IOREG should show <00 08 00 00> HDMI considering patching under Device Properties in Config.plist is correct. The reason I'm trying to correct this is because I use my laptop mostly in clamshell mode through a 24" LG IPS Monitor - the monitor had an Aux out which connects to my 2.1 stereo out system for audio. So if the HDMI cable is connected prior booting up then System Preferences>Sound>Output is as below, HDMI Audio detected. I have a Hackintosh that I built over a year ago that has been working great. However, yesterday when I tried to boot the system I got the following error: AMF: No slide values are usable! Does anyone have an explanation why my brightness keys aren't working? Ive been through the guide and the web countless times searching for any brightness key issues specific to my laptop but most people just have issues remapping it to just the f11 and f12 keys as supposed to fn+f11/f12. Ive done all the dell specific settings too. Maybe I'm missing something or they just don't work? I just got High Sierra up and running on my old PC, however, the PC would just freeze after login for 2 to 3 minutes, i also the notice the graphics card wasn't initialized properly, as it only shows 1023mb instead of 1024mb. Log file returns empty (or maybe i was just using release version of OpenCore). How can i fix these issues? I have some problems with wifi continuity that make using an online installer quite difficult. The only offline installer I'm aware of is the Hackintosh Zone installer, and that thing bricked the RTC on two of my computers (don't touch that thing with a 10 foot pole). I built a hackintosh last month. I updated the efi to OC 0.6.9. I added all the missing keys in the new update using OCConfigCompare. I made sure that there was nothing missing. When I boot OC, it gives me the following text: OCS: No schema for AppleEg2Info at 3 index, content <ProtocolOverrides>! It does boot and it works fine, but it is kind of annoying. Hi. I have a conundrum, I tried to reinstall Big Sur on a Dell precision 7710 after swapping the ssd. Same OC 6.9 files in EFI that worked previously(I had 11.2.2 running) and a newly downloaded recovery (downloaded with win 10). I can boot in recovery mode, I can format the ssd, but when I run the installer, instead of telling me "An internet connection is required..." it just disappears.
