Good afternoon, /r/hackintosh!
Recently, I acquired a 2006 Intel iMac. The Mac works okay, with the exception of the screen. After looking at the costs to repair a machine of this age, I figured that it would be cool to not only replace the display with one that was higher resolution, but interface that display to a much more modern set of hardware. And of course, wouldn't it be cool if it could run MacOS?
So, is this kind of build possible? Or is it too much trouble?
