I was able to successfully instal macOS Sierra 10.12.6 on a new 8th Gen intel processor.
What Works: • Sound • Ethernet, WIFI and Bluetooth • USB 3.1 • HD630 Integrated Graphics • NVIDIA HDMI Audio • Full NVIDIA Graphics acceleration • Sleep / Wake Functions • Find my Mac, iMessage, iBooks, Facetime

Followed everything to a T and the installation was flawless.
I had to make some post installation changes as I faced issues with graphics. The computer ID says that it’s a mac 17,1 which caused the PCie graphics to be shutoff upon start up. The computer still started up normally however, the display went to sleep.
