| | Hey all, I’m trying to get macOS Sequoia running on my Late 2014 iMac 27” 5K with OCLP. I made the USB, erased the drive, and started the install. First stage looks fine, but after it reboots, instead of continuing I just get the prohibitory sign (circle with slash). I didn’t select “Macintosh HD” too early it reboots on its own into that screen. From what I’ve read this might be GPU driver related (R9 M290X/M295X) since it needs OCLP post-install root patches, but I can’t even get to the OS to run them. Anyone else hit this on a 2014 5K iMac? Is there a trick to get past that first reboot? Do I need to reformat the drive differently (GUID/APFS), rebuild the OCLP USB, or am I missing something in the boot picker? Thanks in advance 🙏 [link] [comments] |
