Hello all,
So my 2012 Retina Macbook Pro is starting to die and I'm thinking its time to replace my laptop with a much stronger Desktop Machine. I am currently looking at the new 2017 iMac. Which I can get for roughly 2650 With the following specs:
- i7 4.2Ghz 7700K
- 512 SSD
- Radeon Pro 580
There are a couple of concerns that are stopping me from just buying that iMac. With the new 8th gen i7 processors out I feel as though that machine is already obsolete as well as the 580 graphics card in comparison to the rumored Vega graphics cards and the current line of Nvidia cards. My other concern is if I go the Hackintosh route would I be able to build something that will be reliable. I looked at Tony 86x But i dont see any 8th gen intel processors. Any chance they will be supported.
