I was getting that ducking WindowServer only ran for 0 seconds error since I got past an ACPI panic. Now seems like I finally sloved it.
Before I tried patching SSDT, but that didn't work.
What I tried now was:
Go to Disk Utility on my working Sierra install
Click "Convert"
Select BaseSystem.dmg copied to Desktop from the Install USB
Change it from "Compressed" to "read/write"
Wait till it's done
Mount it by double-clicking
Delete the IONDRVSupport.kext file from /System/Library/Extensions (/S/L/E)
In my case with an AMD card, also delete all kexts which have the word "AMD" in the name
Copy the modified to be read/write and with deleted kexts BaseSystem.dmg to the USB
Done! I got past WindowServer! Now I'm getting another error, considerRebuildOfKernelCache triggered by driver com.idk.idk.fakeSMC. I'll be trying to fix that soon and I'll post a fix for that here. If you had that problem and solved it, please also help me. Best of luck hackintoshing, ArtikusHG.
