Windows Detected That the EFI Partition was Formatted as NTFS

I've come across this error in a pile of many other ones and was wondering if anyone's got a quick solution.

I've formatted a partition for Windows as HFS+J, and followed all the steps to install, but when I hit install, this error shows up.

Is it a problem with the drive, or is it the USB? And how do I fix this?
