After making a stupid error (updating to High Sierra without doing my due diligence), I made a USB installer, but the damn thing won't boot, with the error of "Reboot and select proper Boot device..."
I have Legacy boot compatibility off, so this makes no sense to me: Clover is installed for UEFI booting only, in the ESP. All relevant setup parameters are set for normal macOS operation, so I can't see any reason why Clover, at least, shouldn't come up.
System is 4970K/ASRock Z97.
