High Vega56 load after Mojave 10.14.3 update?

I've noticed that my Vega56 is running at a high load following the Mojave 10.14.3 update. If I run:

ioreg -l |grep \"PerformanceStatistics\" | cut -d '{' -f 2 | tr '|' ',' | tr -d '}' | tr ',' '\n'|grep 'Temp\|Fan\|Clock' 

I get:

"Fan Speed(%)"=38 "Core Clock(MHz)"=1662 "Memory Clock(MHz)"=925 "Fan Speed(RPM)"=1891 "Temperature(C)"=74 

Previously, my card would clock down. I've use the VGTab utility to allow me to undervolt/overclock my card. I haven't tried disabling that (that's my next step) but I wanted to see if anyone else was noticing high GPU use after the update.

Specs:

• CPU: i7 8700k
• GPU: MSI AirBoost Vega56 (*the "GPUtach" on the side of my card also indicates it's going at full blast; this is a change from pre-10.14.3)
• RAM: 64gb 2666 DDR4
