Starting out

Hi folks, total hackintosh newbie here

I'm getting a new SSD in a few days and planning on running Mojave on it so I can switch between that and my windows boot drive.

I have no access to an existing mac and dont want to buy a USB boot either.

So my question is, what is going to be the easiest steps to follow to get the OS running on a new harddrive.

Would it involve getting the OS installer via a virtual machine, or maybe something like the sidebar guide from user midi1996?

There seems to be various workarounds out there and im confused.
