Reboot holds at 'Will be calling reboot(2) with flags: 0x0' for about 10-20 seconds

Hi all,

My hackintosh has been working properly most of the time, with only two issues - reboot and sleep tend to be hit or miss. '-v' shows during rebooting, it tends to hold at 'Will be calling reboot(2) with flags: 0x0' for about 10-20 seconds then followed by a kernel panic which reboots it finally (yeah...). Sleep is a hit or miss. Shutdown seems to work fine.

Is there any chance to solve this? I'm just hoping to skip that 10-20 seconds of waiting time while rebooting.
