Starting to learn about hackintoshs

Hi all,

so i'm still very new to this Hackintosh thing, but despite being very interested i'd like some infos before doing anything.

So the main question I have is does a hackintosh perform like Boot camp ? I mean, I have this PC that I've built that runs Windows 10 but i'd like to install MacOS as well because of specfic softwares that i can't get on windows or because some runs better on macos.

So if i install MacOS on it, will I still be able to choose at launch whether i want to use Windows or MacOS ?
