Trying to install Mac OS Catalina on T480, keep getting promoted for credentials. Cannot continue installation.

Hey guys, got an odd one and I haven't found anything online.

I've got a Lenovo T480 that I'm trying to install Catalina, and I can boot to the installer just fine, but when selecting the installation drive and clicking next, it immediately prompts me for admin credentials which do not exist. I cannot proceed past that window.

Have any of you guys run into this?
