I just upgraded to Mojave from High Sierra. I had to weed out some old kexts to get sound to work. The system worked fine for a week until today. Now when I start the boot of OSX from Clover, the Apple progress bar proceeds half way across and the system re-boots. The only thing I did differently today was I left a USB drive inserted in one of the reports when I was booting the system. I don't think that should have changed any thing. My install routine say “not enough disk space to install” I’ve discovered that there is an extra volume on the boot drive that almost fills the drive. Two volumes display in Disk Utility (but other utilities show 5 volumes) One is current install - Catalina One volume is my old Mojave install. 95GB Is there a way to remove the old volume without reformatting the entire disk? Hi, I have installed Big Sur 11.2.3 on a i7-4790K in a GA-Z97MX-Gaming-5 with a Fenvi-T919 (connected to an internal USB header to enable bluetooth) using OpenCore 0.7.9.
