I am trying to install Monterey on my 2010 Mac Pro with a newly installed RX 580 and I can't possibly enter the boot menu. Even with its original graphics card I can't see it (I think it may have to do with my monitor and I have no spares.) I hold option and see the blank screen and in assumption of the boot menu still being there I try to select the EFI boot but when I click enter my screen remains blank. One thing of note after I give up and power the machine off it immediately powers down without holding down the button which makes me assume I had accessed something(???) I don’t quite know I am currently still learning Mac’s so if someone can help give me a solution that’d be great thanxxx👍👍
