Reviving old hackintosh as a VirtualBox/VMWare/whatever VM

I used to have a hackintosh that my main working computer, which I then stopped using once I bought an actual MacBook Pro.

I did a sector-by-sector image of the hackintosh disk for future reference, which I now want to revive.

I'd prefer something like VirtualBox since it's free, but other VM software work as well.

I have previously managed to revive the hackintosh as a QEMU/KVM VM semi-successfully, at least it was accessable, but I am not happy with the fact that I need PC to access it, since the host OS would be Ubuntu.

I need some help to revive my hackintosh image as a VirtualBox VM, if possible.

My hackintosh image uses Clover 2.3k rev 3650 (build 2016-07-20 20:15:22) as boot manager.

This works fine.

Boot args look like this:

However, when I boot, I get this far and then the VM shuts down:

I've read a bunch of different posts online, but to no avail.

Please help. Thank you.
