I can send iMessage texts to myself but not to others

As the title says. I'm working on getting iMessage to work (through my appleID and not phone number as I do not have an iPhone)

So far I've only been able to message myself and get read receipts and the same message back. However, I cannot message others as it says not delivered.

I've followed all the steps from here.

• My serial number is invalid
• en0 shows up as built in
• I've fixed my ROM using the ethernet's MAC address from within Windows
• Cleaned out old attempts and reset the NVRAM every single attempt
• AppleID has actual Apple devices registered and is relatively old (2 iPads and around 8 years old if it matters)
• Cleaned up my AppleID by removing old attempts although I have not found a way to clear iServices from Keychain

I still cannot message others using iMessage. One thing to note if it helps is that it errors out way faster than it did before I fixed my ROM.

I'm using OC 0.9.7 Release on Sonoma 14.2.1 running on an i5-8265u with UHD 620 Graphics. Filevault, SIP and Secure Boot is enabled. Happy to provide any other information if required.
