Hi there! My mother gave me her old MBA 2017 8GB Monterrey. I used to have a MacBookPro 2021 for Steam (indie games, not too heavy) and Rekordbox (for DJing).
I don’t care about UI and I have a functional Macbook Pro for work and an iPad + keyboard and a PS5 (so of course, i run the heaviest games there).
My question is: Since I’d use it for playing/DJing (no icloud, no browsing, etc.), do I NEED to update it to another macOS? If yes, which one do you recommend for better performance?
