Step-by-Step Preparation:

  1. Update OpenCore: Ensure you are using OpenCore 1.0.5 or newer before attempting to boot macOS Tahoe.
  2. Update Kexts: Update all essential kexts (Lilu, VirtualSMC, etc.) to their latest beta/release versions.
  3. Solve AMD GPU Kernel Panics: WhateverGreen is currently bugged on AMD cards. Avoid using boot arguments like agdpmod=pikera. If you get a kernel panic mentioning AMDSupport, this is the cause.
  4. Disable Intel Bluetooth: Disable IntelBTPatcher.kext as it causes kernel panics in the current betas.

  • IntelMausi may not work correctly with certain Intel ethernet chipsets
