How can I upgrade from Sierra to High Sierra without losing anything

Hi, I have two sierra partitions, one for daily use and another for such cases when I want to test something but I don't want to have a borked macOS install on my drive, so nothing is in real danger, anyways, how is it possible to upgrade to high sierra from the old one
