Switching from El Cap Beast to HS Vanilla?

Hello, 10.11.6 NVIDIA GeForce GTX 950 2047 MB GB Z170-UD3 32GB Corsair 2400 DDR4 Intel 256GB SSD for OS and apps HDDs for data

I'd like to move to HS. What's the best way to get a vanilla HS running AND keep my apps and current settings? Can I somehow use migration manager or?

Also: Should I install HS on a separate SSD and boot from that (and is there a guide for my hardware?...) or should i upgrade from my existing Uni/Multibeast install and then somehow fix the problems that will no doubt result due to my beast-style kext locations?
