As mentioned before, have come back to the Hacklife

So I've had a new 16" MBP since Thanksgiving; the experience was rather dismal for the money ($4000!):

• Hotter idle temps, 55℃ vs 43℃ on my micro-atx box; fans kick on for just browsing imgur, boo
• Has hung TWICE when waking up from sleep
• Apple bluetooth mouse erratic
• i9 not any faster than the i7-8700K
• I have three perfectly usable iPads so don't need a laptop (duh!)
• USB-C dongletown sucks

Got 10.15.1 running on what was my main driver on High Sierra with a 1070Ti. Had to pull the Nvidia and put in an RX-580 I had lying around.

Got the do-not-enter sign when trying to install from a USB3 stick, but imaging a USB2 stick worked fine.

Trying to use both DisplayPorts on the RX-580 didn't work, but one DP and one HDMI is working fine.
