Possible Windows Solution --and Correction Needed

I've seen a few posts where OpenCore is installed, and the person notes that Windows no longer boots. Having attempted to install MacOS on a few laptops, I have noticed this issue as well. That it may boot okay for a few times, but out of the blue you get to the boot selection screen when choosing your MacOS drive, select Windows, then it boots to a BSOD. I thought it was due to automatic updates in Windows, but this is false.

What I've found to work is simply booting the device, then going to the boot selection screen and choosing Windows Boot Manager. Every time I've done that Windows boots properly without the BSOD. It may be seen as a hassle as it's an extra few steps, but on the positive side it can also be seen as a theft deterrent if the device is stolen, a person goes to boot to Windows only to be met with the BSOD.

Is there a working, universal solution to booting Windows from the MacOS drive, or is it better to simply boot to the boot selection screen, then choose the Windows drive from there?
