Hello guys, currently I have a question. I have just bought a AOC 165hz gaming monitor with good price (in my country I think lol). If I connect my laptop to the monitor via Type-C port (DP 1.2 supported) using Type-C to DP cable, will UHD630 be RIP in someday? I heard from some ppl, they said if using iGPU to connect to external monitor >120Hz, the iGPU can die, worse the laptop motherboard will die.
I have just tried, external monitor works fine at 165hz.
My laptop panel is 144hz. And max resolution BOTH of them are Full HD 1080p only.
