I have a 23 inch Cinema Display (one of the aluminium body ones) and I'm trying to use it as a second screen with my Acer Aspire E5 laptop. The power light on the display will turn on, but I can't get the screen on. I've installed Brightness Control and it just says that it can't find an apple device.
