I did an update to MacOS and applied the root patches and now MacOS get stuck on 1/3rd of the loading bar. I've let it sit for some time now and it makes no difference. I also tried booting in safe mode and that works. It shows the original version identified when checking the about this Mac section. I've tried to reset NVRAM with no change and I'm unsure about what to try next. Any help is appreciated.
