I have created a bootable MacOS High Sierra USB using TransMac. When I try to boot from USB, my PC does not recognize the operating system and goes to Windows. The file I burned to the USB is High Sierra.DMG. I followed the same procedure but this time I substituted the MacOS and used Sierra.raw file and this time it booted and I was able to install but the only problem I faced with this second process was that once I installed macOS Sierra 10.12, I was mot able to update it. It lioks like my PC will only allow booting fron USB if macOS is burned using raw fornat as opposed to DMG.
My PC HP Compaq Pro 6200 SFF CPU: i7 2600 GPU: gtx 1050 ti 4gb RAM: 16gb
Any help I can get in resolving the DMG issue will be greatly appreciated.
