Not staying asleep when LG 38WK95C USB-C is plugged in [SOLVED]

Info on my hack here.

Ran into an issue where my hackintosh wouldn't stay asleep. Once entering sleep, after a few seconds it would wake back up. The screen wouldn't wake up, but the fan and drives would spin back up.

The Asus Maximus XI Hero WiFi has 1 USB-C port. The LG 38WK95C has a USB-C port which is used to supply the 2 USB-A ports on the back of the monitor.

Turns out, the cause of the issue was a setting on the monitor - Deep Sleep Mode. When this setting was turned on, my machine would not stay asleep. Turning this option off put my system to sleep properly.

From the LG manual:

When Deep sleep mode is enabled, power consumption is minimized while the monitor is in standby mode. On Enables Deep sleep Mode. Off Disables Deep sleep Mode. Note: USB HUB functions will not work in standby mode while Deep sleep Mode is enabled in standby mode.

Putting this here in case someone else with similar hardware runs into this issue.
