Hi all. I'm pretty new to this whole thing, and I managed to install OS X Yosemite on my Dell Latitude E6220 with everything working well except for the touchpad. Sound and graphics worked out of the box. I've tried downloading numerous kexts for ALPS touchpad and others and none have worked.
One of the ALPS kexts that I install actually made it so the keyboard no longer worked after installing, but did not actually make the touchpad work. I've tried searching around and all I could find were posts on the E6230 but not the E6220. The kext for the E6230 is the one that caused my keyboard to no longer work, so I'm at a loss for what to do and it's quite a pain using a USB mouse as the computer only has 2 USB slots, and Yosemite is on an external drive.
Any help / working kext for this computer is appreciated. Thanks in advance!
