Weird Graphics in Sierra

I wanted to reformat since I couldn't get things working after switching boards then back, then to a replacement new board. When i installed Sierra again I used MultiBeast to stabilize things first, then did Clover and Clover Configurator, did the Nvidia drivers, then used the extra black screen kexts advised from this thread. right now the Apple Menu icon is fine, but when i go to iTunes the same icon is distorted, and in Safari the navigation buttons are distorted as well.

I noticed that in the "About This Mac" the original serial number wasn't listed but instead read "Default text". I logged in to my Apple account and got the serial number from the last time I put a Hackintosh on the same board and same hard drive, so I copied it and pasted it into the config.plist file using Clover Configurator and saved the file. I rebooted and went back in to my apple account and noticed there were two iMacs listed (my SMBIOS is iMac 17,1) but now they had the same serial.

Do I have something screwed up because of the serial or some weird graphics parameter that needs adjusted? When I reinstalled Sierra after getting a new board I kept the Gigabyte GTX 960, then went to a GTX 970 and didn't change anything. At that time the Apple Menu icon and Safari icons were okay.

Edit: My CPU is a Skylake i5-6500
