Updated to High Sierra and built a desk. Result: a happy college student with a nice working station and a fully functional hackintosh!

Success with High Sierra update, and a new hand built computer desk to go with it!

What I did to update to HS:

-Backed everything up

-Downloaded HS from the App Store

-Updated and installed the newest version of clover to my main boot drive

-Downloaded and updated the following kexts: USBInjectAll.kext, Lilu.kext, NvidiaGraphicsFixup.kext

-Added the apfs.efi in the drivers64uefi folder

-installed and update Nvidia drivers

-Went through update process on screen, making sure to select to boot install from FileVault option each time, for a total of three times if I recall (Note, don’t select the option to boot into macOS, tried this first time through and install failed. Patience is key)

-Followed this guide to get my Audio working

-Finally, to get my USB ports working, I followed this guide

And now I’m good! Thanks to the community and developers for making the process mostly seamless and easy! (And shootout to corpnewt discords channel as well, and my dad for helping me with the desk)
